Comprehensive Plan Amendment Deadline

	Comprehensive Plan Amendment Deadline The City has announced the schedule for the next Comprehensive Plan Amendment cycle. The City normally amends the Comprehensive Plan twice a year using two different cycles.  Due to the pending vote on Amendment 4 (Hometown Democracy), the schedule for the last amendment cycle has been moved up in order to complete the entire amendment process prior to the vote.  If you desire to submit a land use change to the City of DeLand, please submit a completed application to the Planning Department. A tentative schedule has been established: Application Deadline:  February 15, 2010 Planning Board Public Hearing:  April 21, 2010 City Commission Transmittal Hearing:  May 17, 2010 City Commission to Adopt – October 4 or 18, 2010 (approximate)
